LaRue is a city on the rise! Here you see the new LaRue Community Playhouse under construction. When finished, the Playhouse will be the new home to the LaRue Community Players and play host to special events throughout the year. The new Playhouse was co-financed by the LaRue Listener and the Town of Larue. The Playhouse is due to open at the end of February 2008. The original playhouse has been transformed into a museum about the history of Larue.

 

 

 

Here you see the construction of the new city hall. Upon completion in June 2008, the new hall will house all of LaRue's administrative needs. With 12 new offices being added, the new building will service the people of LaRue for the 21st century and beyond.
